Services - Quite simple really ;-)

I offer a unique, template based website which you can easily update yourself for just £399. These sites are very functional and are aimed at businesses who want to keep their audience frequently updated with news, events and content changes. As a freelancer my overheads are very low so on the flipside I keep VERY busy and will schedule a date for your site to start and give you a completion date. Here is how it works:

Pick a template from my designs, I customise it to suit your needs and assemble your site.

Choose from one of my existing web templates that suits your business look & feel. Can't decide? I can choose one for you to ensure your content is shown at it's best. View the templates » A templated site differs from a bespoke site in that the bulk of the design work has already been completed. I modify the template to suit your business and then carefully add all your content so it's perfect.

Have up to 6 pages of your choosing, including service offerings, news, events, galleries, product pages and contact forms.

Choose the pages (website structure) that you require. You may wish to include a page about your company and a page with your service offerings. You may have a range of products you wish to advertise with prices. If you require a news or events page then the latest news/events will appear on the front page of your website.

Update the site text and images yourself via just a web browser editor. Online video
tutorials showing you how to update your site are included to get you started quickly.

Ordinarily, changes on your site would have been carried out by the web designer at a further cost. Not any more! Once your site is live you will be able to update the text, images, galleries, news and events very easily via your web browser. Simply login to your website and you will be presented with a list of your pages. Click a page to edit, make the changes, then click 'update', it's that easy!

Excellent site statistics so you can track your visitors and usage.

When your site is live, it will immediately start to collect visitor site statistics. You can then check each month and see where your visits are coming from, what search terms are used and also what pages on your site are popular.

Search engine optimised.

Your site will be added to the most popular seach engines and each page on your site will be optimsed to ensure it can be easily included in the search engine's database. Documentation is also included to show you how to maintain an optimised page when you start to make text changes on your website. Part of a website's ranking success is due to your content being updated on a regular basis, now you can do this whenever you wish.

Includes web hosting, email and domain name for 12 months.

Your website needs somewhere to live on the internet. This is called 'hosting' and is usually billed on a 12 month basis. Your site will also require a domain name in the format (www.yourcompanyname.co.uk). As part of my £399 design service I offer hosting AND domain name for 12 months within this price. The cost per year after this is £99 which will pay for your hosting and domain name renewal.

I WANT TO GO AHEAD! WHAT NEXT?

That's great news ;-) Contact me via email or phone for a brief chat about the service and I will send you a document to complete and return which will contain your personal details, content and chosen domain name. You will then be informed of a date for the site to go live which is usually within 48 hours of receiving your content. Payment is required immediately after the site has been built and before it is made live.
